Shot of co-founder Karl on a Swift at the 2006 Mt. Washington hill climb. Bike setup with a 22-tooth chainring and single 21-tooth rear cog. Karl finished first in the folder category (which he invented for this race).

James from San Fran provided this shot of his urban assault vehicle: stock Swift with carbon bar and carbon bar-ends, titanium-railed saddle, 130mm 8deg rise stem, and Crank Brothers Candy-C pedals. Nice.

In front of Alley's General Store on Martha's Vineyard, about the finest place on the planet for an iced tea stop. |

With the Scouts on a 200-mile ride in SoCal. All those big-wheeled bikes and the one everyone wants to ride is the Swift! |

Mounting a bottle and pump with Minoura BH95 doohicky.

As part of Trophy Bike's 2005 Folder Round Up in Philadelphia, four Swift enthusiasts rode in the Lance Armstrong Wachovia Time Trial on their Swifts. It was particularly pleasing to go faster than a significant fraction of the lycra and carbon crowd. The bikes proved to be...well...swift.

Some members of the Swift community are, ahem, a bit eccentric in their cycling pursuits. Following are some shots from the lunatic fringe. If you've done some fun, interesting, or useful things with your Swift, send us some pix at info@xootr.com.
Definitely in the "don't try this at home" category: Flugtag competition off deck of aircraft carrier JFK in Hudson River NYC. (We dare someone to find a bike that accommodates a 3 meter long pink fish as well as the Swift.)

Our time trialist Matt with fixed-gear Swift and Zebra suit at Philly time trial. |

The next year...with bike mods and gray flannel.

Matt's bike for 2005...the fastest yet. |

Steve ready for some track action in the rain. |

A nearly-legal track bike using a stock Swift frame. (The wheels are legal, but the bottom bracket is 20mm too high...)

Holy Swift! Paul's Swift at a little church in England.

Josef's customized Swift. Josef added a Pantour suspension hub on the front, Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires on the front and rear, an An-atomica leather saddle, and an Ergon multi-position grips with integrated alu barends.

Franklin's customized Swift above St. Luc in the Swiss Alps. There are more mods than we can list, but his myspace page has all the specs. It is very impressive!

Paul's Swift in Carlisle, UK. His latest mods are the butterfly bars and Carradice SQR bag.

This Swiss couple was in the states doing some touring on their Swift's. Notice the "custom" front rack!

Here is a shot of the Swift at a race in Korea. We did not get any results of how it finished.

We are thoroughly aware that we have failed to capture much "normal" Swift behavior in the photographic record so far. How about some pix folks? Send them to info@xootr.com.
